This past Saturday morning, Kona Bowl hosted its third and final Big Island Interscholastic Federation (BIIF) boys and girls regular season bowling meet of 2023. Konawaena and Kealakehe represented the west side of the island, while Kamehameha Schools Hawai‘i (KSH) and Ka‘u came from the Hilo side. The outing also officially crowned the 2023 BIIF Bowling Championship Teams — Konawaena boys and KSH girls. Five members from each wining team automatically qualified for the HHSAA State Bowling Championships on Oahu. The BIIF Individual Championships will take place Saturday, Oct. 21 at Kona Bowl.
